Deep clean pricing
- DJ controllers
- From $150
- DJ mixers
- From $150
- Larger mixers
- Up to $200, depending on channel count
- Turntables
- From $100, depending on the model. Newer decks often cost less than vintage ones.
- Diagnosis / bench fee
- $50, credited toward the repair if you approve it
- Rush service
- $100 flat, puts your unit at the front of the queue
Final pricing depends on the model and its condition. You'll get an exact quote before any work starts.
Most cleanings are done within 5 to 7 business days of your gear arriving. Repairs that need parts depend on how fast the part ships.
Repairs
Repairs start with a $50 diagnosis. We open the unit, find the fault, and send you a quote for parts and labor. Nothing gets fixed until you approve it, and if you do, the $50 is credited toward the repair.
If a repair would cost more than the unit is worth, we'll tell you straight, before you spend anything beyond the diagnosis.
Common repairs
- Scratchy, crackling, or dead channel and crossfaders
- Jog wheels that slip, drift, or don't register touch
- Sticky, dead, or double-triggering pads and buttons
- Dead channels, noisy pots, and one-sided output
- Loose or broken USB, RCA, XLR, and headphone jacks
- Units that won't power on or keep cutting out
- Screens, LEDs, and display issues
- Spill damage from drinks and fog fluid
We don't take in vintage DJ controllers, since parts for them are hard to find. Not sure where your unit falls? Send the form or call and ask.
Before you send it in
- Back up any saved settings, hot cues, or presets you care about. Some repairs need a factory reset.
- Take out USB drives, SD cards, and anything else that's yours and not part of the unit.
- Include the power supply or power cable, so we can test it the way you use it.
- Write down exactly what's wrong and when it happens, like "left jog slips after 20 minutes" or "channel 2 crackles when I touch the EQ."
Shipping your gear
Send the form first. We'll reply with a shipping address and a request number.
- Use the original box if you have it. Otherwise, pack the unit with at least 2 inches of padding on every side so it can't move.
- Put a note inside with your name, return address, phone number, request number, and a list of everything in the box.
- Ship with any carrier you like. We recommend tracking and insurance for the full value of the unit.
Return shipping is on us. We'll send you tracking when it goes back out.

BUS The person on the bench
About us
I'm Andrew, and inCircuit is my shop.
I've been DJing for over 10 years, and I have a bachelor's degree in music production from Full Sail University, with a background in music theory and electronic music. I've also been taking electronics apart since I was 13, from old iPhone 4s to speakers to computers, and for the last 6 years I've been repairing audio gear professionally.
Right now, inCircuit is a one-person operation. When you send in a controller, I'm the one who opens it up. When you book an event, I'm the one who shows up, sets up, and plays. You deal directly with the person doing the work, and your gear or your event gets my full attention.
Here's what I do: deep cleaning and repair for DJ controllers, mixers, CDJs, and turntables; DJ sets and sound for parties, venue nights, and corporate events; and extra hands for event companies that need a tech who knows the gear.
Sound system culture is at the heart of inCircuit. I've spent years in clubs, at raves, and at house parties, and even on the dance floor, I've always been paying attention to how the night runs: how the system is stacked, how the room is tuned, and how the crew behind the scenes keeps it all going. A great night is built on great sound, and the people who build and care for those systems are as much a part of the culture as the DJs. That's the tradition I want inCircuit to carry forward.
I started inCircuit in 2026, and I'm building it to grow: more hands, more gear, and more rooms filled with sound done right. The goal is simple. Keep DJs' equipment playing like it should and help our community's events sound their best. If you're in New Jersey, New York, or Connecticut, I'd love to work with you.
FAQ
Questions
How long does a cleaning take?
Most cleanings are done within 5 to 7 business days after your gear arrives. Repairs that need parts depend on how fast the part ships, and we'll give you a timeframe with your quote.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards, cash, checks, Zelle, Venmo, and Cash App.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes. Repair and cleaning work is guaranteed for 30 days.
Who pays for return shipping?
We do. If you ship your gear to us, return shipping is on us.
What if I don't pick up my gear?
We'll contact you by phone and email as soon as your gear is ready. Finished gear can stay with us for free for 60 days. After that, storage is $5 per day. If it still hasn't been picked up 120 days after we notify you, we'll send a final written notice, and after that the gear is considered abandoned.
Where do you work?
We're based in Bloomfield, New Jersey, and serve the Tri-State area: New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Local gear can be dropped off by appointment or picked up, and anyone can ship it to us.
Which brands do you work on?
All the major DJ brands, including Pioneer DJ / AlphaTheta, Denon DJ, Numark, Rane, Native Instruments Traktor, Reloop, Allen & Heath, Technics, Hercules, and Roland. The one exception is vintage DJ controllers, since parts are hard to find.
Do you work on live sound and studio mixers?
Often, yes. Pick "Live sound or studio mixer" on the form, tell us the model, and we'll let you know if it's something we can take on.
How much does a repair cost?
Repairs start with a $50 diagnosis. After that, we send a quote for parts and labor, and nothing gets fixed until you approve it. If you approve the repair, the $50 is credited toward it. Cleaning prices are listed on the gear maintenance page.
What if you can't find anything wrong?
We test on a full signal chain and try to reproduce the problem, and we may call you to ask exactly when it happens. If we still can't find a fault, you pay only the $50 bench fee.
What if it's not worth fixing?
We'll tell you honestly. If a repair would cost more than the unit is worth, you'll hear that before you spend anything beyond the diagnosis.
I have a gig coming up. Can you rush it?
Yes. Rush service is $100 flat and puts your unit at the front of the queue. Put your gig date in the form and we'll tell you up front whether we can make it. If a part has to be ordered, the timeline depends on the supplier.
Will I lose my settings?
Some repairs require a factory reset, so back up any saved settings, hot cues, or presets first. Remove USB drives and SD cards before dropping off or shipping.
My gear is still under warranty. Can you fix it?
We're an independent shop, not a factory-authorized service center. If your unit is still under the manufacturer's warranty, check with them first, because opening it may affect your coverage. Once it's out of warranty, we're happy to take it.
How do I check on my repair?
Call or email with your name or request number and we'll give you an update.
Where do I drop off my gear?
Drop-offs are by appointment. Send the form and we'll set up a time and send you the address.
